Kartik Aaryan starred SKTS becomes the Second highest grossing film of 2018

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety now becomes the second highest grossing movie of 2018 and stays behind the movie Padmaavat.

The makers of the movie were overwhelmed by the success of the movie. Luv Ranjan directed the movie. The movie is a romantic comedy with a less known star cast and released during the non-holiday weekend.

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has doubled its collection on the third weekend which is very rare. This proved that the movie is a success at the box-office.

Taran Adarsh, a noted trade analyst, stated that the Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha, Sunny Singh starrer romantic comedy movie had earned the net amount of Rs 82.10 crore by the end of this third weekend. The movie surpassed the collection of Akshay Kumar’s Padman which earned a net amount of Rs 81 crore.

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is now the second highest grossing movie of 2018 after Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor starrer Padmaavat.

T-series Bhushan Kumar and Luv Films Luv Ranjan taken pledge to make the association stronger by doing movies in collaboration mode after the huge success of “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.”

The film “SKTKS” expected to earn some more good amount before the release of most awaited movie Ajay Devgan’s starrer “Raid” this Friday.

Last week release “Hate Story 4” collected an amount of Rs 11.75 crore in the first weekend. This is said to be a good amount for the movie after a series of negative reviews for the movie. Richa Chadha – Pulki Samrat starrer “3 Storeys” got a very poor opening. It collected about Rs 1.60m crore in the opening week. Taapsee Pannu movie “Dil JuunglEE” got a mere collection of Rs 90 lakhs only in the first weekend.

“Raid” movie has a star cast of Ajay Devgan, Ileana D Cruz and Saurabh Shukla is going to hit the theatre on Friday. The movie is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta who is a social thriller movie having a story about honest Government Officer.
