The toss is delayed due to slight drizzle for the India vs West Indies 1st ODI being played at Guyana on August 8, 2019.
The match has been reduced to 43 overs each.
The match was supposed to start at 7 PM India time. It’s one hour past the scheduled start, and we are yet to know what is the cut-off time for the overs to start reducing.
The covers are on and off as the drizzle plays spoilsport for the start of the series opener.
The sun is back and the covers are being removed. If there is no more rain, we should have the toss soon.
The squad for the Windies series is as below:
India: Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Manish Pandey/Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Navdeep Saini/Khaleel Ahmed.
Sony Six live streaming:
Sonyliv.com will have the live streaming as Sony Six will telecast in India. There is no tv telecast in Pakistan.
A chance for Rishab Panth to cement his position in the team
The 3rd T20I also played at the Providence, also saw a rain delay before Rishabh Pant sparkled.
He played brilliantly in his own style and showed he has the game and gears to end India’s endless search for a reliable No.4 in limited-overs cricket.
Windies fiery opener Chris Gayle needs 11 runs to go past Brian Lara as West Indies’ leading run-scorer in ODI history.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli is 19 runs short of pipping Pakistan legend Javed Miandad as the player with the most ODI runs against West Indies.Tweets by BCCI
