Apart from Trent Bridge, Nottingham, matches will be played at Southampton, Manchester, and London. This should be a seamless match, although a few rain interruptions are expected.

With skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni in action, the team had won its last series back in 2011 against the West Indies, so a win in the series is crucial for the new team. With two losses and drawing two matches, India is desperate to set things right on abroad lands.

Against England, India has been going downhill, losing two series in a row. However, the England team has gone through many changes and has equal reasons to charge the guests on the home ground.

England goes to the field sans many key men who helped them win the last two series against India, including Graeme Swann, Kevin Pietersen, and Jonathan Trott, and their other players like James Anderson, Alastair Cook, and Stuart Broad are all dealing with bad forms.

England comes back from the Ashes tour, which was disastrous to say the least, and therefore, India might want to take the advantage of their low confidence. Team India has young players, especially the bowlers, who are way looking for a chance to score. Virat Kohli has already expressed his desire to do something big in the series as he plays on many grounds for the first time.

For England, Alastair Cook needs to prove himself well. The team also leans on Joe Root, who came off as one of the right spots against Sri Lanka recently. As for India, many eyes will be on Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who is expected to kill it large.
