According to a DC report on Aug 18, Rao made it clear that the intended survey would by no means aim to trigger nativity identification of the citizens.

“The survey has nothing to do with nativity or identifying Seemandhra people. It’s only a social and economic survey,” Rao has been quoted as saying.

According to him, “one says KCR is Hitler, another says KCR is dictator; KCR is definitely Hitler for thieves. I want to be Hitler for the corrupt.”

The survey carried out on a budget of around Rs 20 crore will be wrapped up in a single day, on August 19th. Rao also added the RTC buses will be halted for a day to ensure the smooth coverage of the survey members.

He was speaking after a meeting with the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
