‘Freedom 251’ smartphones start shipping from July 8

People who have booked “Freedom 251″ touted to be the world’s cheapest smartphone are in a sigh of relief, as the makers have announced that the delivery of these devices will begin on Friday, July 08, 2016.

During the event, manufacturers of this gadget Ringing Bells also launched two budget phones; ‘the elegance’ and ‘the elegant’. Apart from these devices, the company also announced four new feature phones, one LED HD Television and three power banks.

The mobile phone company during the press meet told that they will ship 5000 units of Freedom 251 initially, and people who will get these pieces will be selected by a lucky draw. As per the company, they will ship the remaining consignments after receiving feedback from the existing users.

The “Elegance” and “Elegant” versions of Ringing Bells comes with a 5-inch display. Both these gadgets will be powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, and it will have 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory.

The memory of these devices can be expanded up to 32GB using an external memory card. Both these smartphones will feature an 8MP rear camera and 3.2 MP front camera.

Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity are available in both elegance and elegant.

Elegance comes with 4G Connectivity and 2800 mAh battery. It is being priced Rs. 4999, while Elegant which has just 3G connectivity is available at Rs 3999.

The power banks are available from Rs.699 to Rs.1099 according to its capacity.

The HD LED TV which will be available from August 15, 2016, is available at Rs 9900. The introduction of this television is expected to create huge revolutions in the Indian market, as customers in this nation are known for embracing high-end products at cheap rates.
