And why not? It is an outstanding platform: it has an incredible AI to suggest new music based on your preference, makes you new playlists daily, and has over 70 million tracks. No matter what you listen to from Hindi music to metal, you’ll find everything on Spotify.  Even so, you can make Spotify more incredible.

Here are three must-have apps for every Spotify user.

Last.FM:

I have been using Spotify for the past 5 years, and not knowing about this app earlier is one of my biggest regrets. Lastfm keeps track of all your music. The best part is, after you open a free account you can add different music services like Apple Music, YouTube Music, and obviously Spotify.

And it will store data from all these different services and show you your music history. Also, it shows you your favorite artists and most played tracks and categorizes everything based on genre. It even shows you what genre you listen to most (mine is rock no surprise there).

You can even track how many hours you have spent listening to which kind of music. Another fun thing you can do in the LastFM is, you can make music buddy. It automatically matches you with other people with similar music tastes.

Stats for Spotify:

One limitation with LastFM is that it tracks your music from when you first login into the app, but it can’t track the music you listened to previously. This is where stats for  Spotify come in. Though it can’t do everything lastFM can, it can still do plenty.

You can check out your top music tracks and artists from this website. You can even check some of your most recently played tracks. But at the moment it only works with Spotify.

So if you have Spotify, quickly go to Top Artists – Stats for Spotify and find out your most played songs and artists. Don’t forget to tell me in the comment box. Here’s mine.

Get your music taste criticized: The third on the list is a fun ai developed by the pudding. If you already have a Spotify account, you can head to this website right now, log in, and let the ai criticize your music taste.

But don’t take it seriously. It’s just for fun and calculates “HOW BAD YOUR MUSIC TASTE IS”.It is compatible with apple music too.
