Karbonn Mobiles launches five new ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ Series Signature Phones

Rajnikant is undeniably the most popular figure in South India and most of his fans are just crazy about him and his endorsed merchandise.

Keeping this in mind, Indian mobile phone manufacturer, Karbonn Mobiles has come up with an ingenious plan to skyrocket their sales figures in the southern part of the country by coming up with five new “Karbonn Kochadaiiyaan Signature Phones”. The company launches these five phones on March 1, 2014.

“Kochadaiiyaan” is an upcoming 3D motion capture computer animated Tamil period film, which will feature Rajnikant enacting and voicing three main roles.

The film, which is scheduled to hit the screens on 11^th April, 2014, is already gaining a lot of attention, primarily because of the presence of Rajnikant in the movie. Keeping the buzz surrounding the movie in mind, Karbonn Mobiles has launched five new limited edition phones, three of which will be based on the Android platform and the remaining two will be feature phones.

The devices that will run Android are the Karbonn A36, Karbonn A6+ and the Karbonn Titanium S51. On the other hand, the two feature phones are christened Karbonn Legend 2.8 and Karbonn Legend 2.4.

All the five devices will have Rajnikant’s signature printed on the back covers and are expected to hit the shelves on March 9, 2014 in limited quantities.

Although the company has not revealed the exact prices of these devices, according to reports the series will include phones priced between Rs 1,990 and Rs 8,000.

Additionally, the company will also release a special 4GB microSD card on the same day, which will have exclusive content from the Tamil movie “Kochadaiiyaan”, and some other movies and songs.
