Meanwhile, CBSE has also announced the term 2 exam date, which will be held offline from April 26. In term-2 exams, students will answer both objective and subjective type questions.
Students should note that the board will not announce term 1 results as pass or fail or essential repeat. The final result will be published after term 2 exams.

The WBBSE Class 10 Madhyamik admit cards for the regular and external exams will be distributed through camp offices on February 23 between 11 am and 5 pm.
After the Class 12 accountancy exam, an audio message was circulated on social media that said students will get up to six extra marks. However, the board later said the audio is fake and no such announcement has been made.

A passage in the Class 10 English exam was “not in accordance with” the guidelines for preparing question papers, the CBSE said, amid allegations that it is regressive, and promotes gender stereotyping. Passage number 1 and questions on the passage have been dropped and students will get full marks for the questions, the board said after the conduct of the CBSE Class 10 English exam.

To download CBSE results from cbseresults.nic.in, students will have to use their roll numbers and registration numbers.

Since CBSE will not mention ‘pass’ or ‘fail’ status on term 1 mark sheets, result-related information like pass percentage, etc. will not be available at the end of term 1 exam. The board had earlier said the final result will be published after term 2 exams.
In term-2 exams, students will answer both objective and subjective type questions. The board will follow the pattern of sample question papers for the exam. CBSE sample papers for Class 10 and Class 12 were released last month on the CBSE academic website.
The Class 12 CBSE result scorecard of term 1 will mention the marks obtained in each of the papers. The final result will be released after the end of term 2.

According to a report, NEET 2022, the undergraduate medical entrance examination, will likely be conducted in June or July, 2022.

The CBSE had said that subject experts and schools can send feedback on term 1 question papers and answer keys to the board. These feedback will be reviewed by the board and will be considered while preparing cbseresults.nic.in 2022 Class 10, 12 results, the board had said.
With the CBSE conducting the 2022 board exams in two terms, one in November-December and the next in March-April, students participating in international or national sports events and international olympiads might not be able to take the CBSE term exams. For these CBSE Class 10, 12 students, the board will conduct special exams at a later date.

In the Class 12 Sociology paper, students were asked to answer an “inappropriate” question related to Gujarat violence of 2002. The board later acknowledged the error and promised action will be taken.
In another instance, the Class 10 English paper came under criticism for a passage that many regarded as “sexist”. The board dropped the passage and said full marks will be awarded for the questions asked based on that passage.
The board has already released the CBSE sample paper and the marking scheme associated on the cbseacademic.nic.in.
