
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has finally a release date. The smartphone is expected to be launched at an event pre-IFA 2014 in Berlin. The IFA trade fair is Europe’s biggest technology exhibition.
A report from a Korean daily says that a source for Samsung claims that the launch of the Galaxy Note 4 is rumoured in September to take on the launch of the much anticipated iPhone 6.
The report also says that Samsung may hold the event to announce the Galaxy Note 4 on Sept. 3. As per the report, the Galaxy Note 4 is incorporating an ultraviolet sensor to measure UV radiation through the ‘S Health’ app.
Galaxy Note 4 reportedly features Qualcomm processors with fourth-generation LTE, 5.7-inch display, Snapdragon 805 chipset for some regions and a variant with an Exynos SoC for other.
The older versions of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Note 3 Neo have got the much anticipated price cuts in India. The retail price has come down both on the company website and the online store- Flipkart.
The Note 3 which was launched about a year back at Rs 49900 is now listed at Rs 40698 on the company store. Flipkart has given even lower price by offering the phablet at Rs 37938 while Amazon offers for Rs 38990.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo (Black) tablet was launched at Rs 40990 and is now priced at Rs 29570 on Samsung’s online store. The same device on Flipkart costs Rs 27249 and Amazon
costs at Rs 28990. Galaxy S5 which was launched for a price over Rs 51000 is now selling at Rs 36450 through online retailers.
