These 17 old phones from OnePlus will be brand new, the company's big giveaway to customers

OnePlus has offered a wonderful gift to its former customers. If you also have a OnePlus smartphone, you will soon have a new experience there. In fact, OnePlus launched its latest OnePlus 10T smartphone at the event on Wednesday. The company also announced Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 software during this event.

This new skin comes with many new and exciting features like Always-on-Display (AOD). The company claims that it highlights important information without having to turn on or unlock the smartphone each time. In addition to displaying the date and time, the AOD feature of OxygenOS 13 displays information from multiple apps such as music streaming apps, food delivery apps, and even drawing tools. Its list of compatible apps includes Spotify, Zomato, Swiggy, and Canvas.

Apart from AOD, OxygenOS 13 also comes with a host of customization features like a smart launcher and sidebar toolkit. Smart Launcher allows the user to quickly access apps from folders by expanding folders and their contents on the home screen, while the sidebar toolbox allows the user to use the phone more easily with one hand. This feature comes with easy access to all apps. It also allows the user to customize the apps displayed there.

Additionally, OxygenOS 13 comes with Quick Pairing functionality that allows users to seamlessly connect their OnePlus smartphone with supported wireless headphones and earphones, smart TVs and more.

The operating system also brings an audio switching feature to the OnePlus smartphone which allows the user to easily switch from one audio device to another or vice versa without any interference.

It comes with features like Nearby Sharing and App Streaming that allows the user to seamlessly transfer content from Android and Windows devices. “…With a feature called App Streaming, smartphones can stream content from their screen to share with other nearby ChromeOS devices,” OnePlus wrote in a press release.

For security, OxygenOS 13 has a Private Safe feature, which the company says protects data, documents, and media files in a virtual vault so they can’t be accessed by other apps.
