Moto G2 with better features launched for Rs 12999

Motorola has just launched ‘Moto G2’ (‘The New Moto G’) – the successor Moto G. The smartphone supports dual-SIM and will be available in 8GB and 16GB variants with the 16GB handset priced at Rs 12,999. motorola-g2 Moto G2 features a 5-inch HD display (720×1280 pixel), powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor and 1GB of RAM. G2 runs on Android 4.4.4 operating system, with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash which is better than the 5MP in Moto G. The G2 also features a 2MP front camera whereas the older version of Moto G sported a 1.3MP front facing camera. Weighing around 149 grams, Moto G2 is fuelled by 2070mAh battery, supports 3G, Bluetooth 4.0LE, Wi-Fi 80211.ac and micro-USB. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, protecting from scratches and scrapes. It features a water resistant coating that protects the phone rain. Moto G’s FM Radio feature can be tuned in through headphones or the phone’s in-built speakers. Motorola’s Migrate feature can help one quickly transfer important data to the new phone within minutes. In case of emergency Motorola Alert feature sends location details through text to contacts and will also sound an alarm if needed. Motorola Mobility India General Manager Amit Boni said that Moto G launchwas partnered with Flipkart, followed by Moto X and E which got tremendous response in India.
