“Adipurush” is directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages, the film stars Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh. Made on a budget of ₹500 crores (US$63 million), Adipurush is one of the most expensive Indian films ever made.
Principal photography commenced in February 2021 and ended in November 2021, with the primary filming in Mumbai. The film is scheduled to be theatrically released on 12 January 2023 in standard 3D and IMAX 3D formats.
