The Common Admission Test (CAT) is one of the most celebrated entrance tests in the nation, and this year more than 1.75 lakh students have attended the examinations which were conducted on November 16 and November 22, 2014.
As per recent reports, the results of these examinations will be declared on December 27, 2014.
The Indore IIM has confirmed this news as per Times Of India, and this has increased the adrenaline rush of people who have attended the test. The results will be uploaded in the CAT website by December 27 evening. Earlier on Sunday, the IIM has given a hint that the results will be published on Monday.
Rohit Kapoor, convenor of CAT said that he has discussed the result publication date with other IIMs, and if everything goes well, it will be available from December 27, 2014.
He also gave a small explanation which caused the delay in publication of results. As per Rohit, Tata Consultancy Services, TCS who conducted the tests has already provided the results.
But to ensure precision, they will be announced only after a thorough fairness check. He wishes to make the process transparent before finalizing the result.
Along with the CAT results, you can also expect the shortlist for final admission round. Triumphing in CAT examinations will help a student to study in IIM, and this will be a great boost for his/her career.
The number of people who are writing this examination is increasing day by day, and this is mainly due to the bright career which awaits them after getting enrolled in an IIM.
