Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose recently got engaged. The couple shared their engagement through a joint Instagram post on Wednesday and captioned the post,
“Happiness is everything.”
The Instagram post features a snap of the pair posed outdoors while Billy Ray Cyrus wore a dark green denim shirt and Firerose sporting a pink and white plaid top.
The couple confirmed rumors of their engagement while speaking with PEOPLE in November. Firerose shared that,
“We were spending every moment of every day together and really just enjoying each others’ company and creating together and laughing.”
Although the couple has not confirmed when they started to date according to an official source, the duo started dating after Cyrus’s relationship with his ex-wife.
He ended his statement by adding,
“grew close while working on music together.”
Billy Ray Cyrus is one of the famous personalities for his singing and acting. He was previously linked to Cindy Smith from 1986 to 1991. But they got separated for some reason.

Later, in 1992, the country music star became a father of two children with different women. He shares Christopher Cody with Kristin Luckey and Miley Cyrus with Tish Finely.
On December 28, 1993, Cyrus and Tish became an official couple, but they tied the knot secretly. Tish became pregnant with her second child and gave birth to a son Braison. The ex-couple share three children – Miley Ray, Braison Chance, and Noah Lindsey Cyrus. Cyrus also adopted two children – Brandi and Trace.
Cyrus filed for divorce on October 26, 2010, and Tish decided to divorce him after 19 years of marriage and filed for divorce on June 13, 2013. The court officially dismissed the divorce case in 2017, but Cyrus filed for divorce again in April 2022. Cyrus shared the divorce papers revealing that they had been separated for more than two years.
Firehose is an Australian-based singer and songwriter. She is mainly known for sharing a romantic relationship with famous singer and actor Billy Ray Cyrus.
