Micromax Yu Yureka available on Amazon: Check Review, Price and Features

Micromax is back with its wholly owned unit Yu Televentures. The phone is said to be priced at Rs 8999 and is said to be running on Cyanogen OS. India’s largest own home phone makers are ready to shoot their Yureka’a brand phone on Thursday.

It seemed that Micromax is losing its grip from the market against some of the giant Chinese brands; their earlier plan was to sell re-branded Chinese phones in Indian market at dirt cheap prices which didn’t went well off course.

They revisited their strategy by launching a fresh new design with a customizable ROM for Android. They have higher expectation from their fresh and newly designed phone and hope to regain their fame back in Indian market.

The phone is said to have 5.5 inch large display, a good 2 GB RAM, A53 Cortex Qualcomm 64 bit octa core processor. The phone carries a 2500 MAH battery for longer usage and has an upgradable memory of upto 32 GB externally and has an internal memory of 16GB out of which 12.58 is available for the users.

The phone has a removable back cover giving their users an option to change the battery manually. It has a 3.5 mm standard jack and USB charging facility as well.

The phone is being branded under the name of YU, and Micromax has been nowhere mentioned on the phone. There are several self-customizing option as well like theme selection, audio output selection, change in the animation style double tap to sleep , etc.

The overall performance of the phone is satisfactory and touch is smooth. It isn’t slaggy at all. Saying it all in a sentence, the phone is worth 8 stars out of 10 and is a worth buy to consider, if you’re planning a phone under the budget of 10k.
