Superstar Pawan Kalyan’s Telugu movie “Attarintiki Daaredi” has been released worldwide on September 27, 2013.

Trade analyst from Bollywood Hungama Taran Adarsh tweeted today on the early trends at the box office overseas, he tweeted, “#AttarintikiDaredi embarked on an earth-shattering start in USA. Numbers still being compiled. The start is PHENOMENAL.” Stay tuned for more news on the earnings..

The family entertainer had been postponed from its initial release date of August 9 to October 9 due to ongoing agitations of Samaikyandhra.

However a pirated print of the movie had surfaced online forcing the makers to release it immediately. Many stars of Telugu film industry have cancelled the shooting of their movies to watch and support the movie.

The movie is directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by BVSN Prasad. The movie has actress Samantha and Pranitha as lead actresses.

Hindi actor Boman Irani is making his debut in a supporting role. The music by Devi Sri Prasad has been well received. Pawan Kalyan has sung a song ‘Kaatam Rayudu’ in the movie.

“Atharintiki Daaredi” is made on a budget of Rs 55 crore (US$8.4 million).

Box-office collections report:

The movie was released on Thursday itself in the United States in 65 screens.The response has been overwhelming.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported on the 1st day collections, #AttarintikiDaredi – USA: Reported screens $ 345,359 + non-Rentrack screens $ 79,000. Thu total: $ 424,359 [Rs 2.67 cr]. HISTORY!

The movie had a earth shattering 1st day at the box-office. Its Andhra collections is as follows:

  •  Nizam – Rs. 3.28 crore
  • Ceded – Rs 2.15 crores
  • Guntur – Rs.  1.40 crores
  • East – Rs.  1.04 crores
  • Vizag – Rs. 82 lacs
  • West -Rs. 75 lacs
  • Krishna – Rs. 71 lacs
  • Nellore – Rs. 57 lacs

1st day total revenue is – Rs. 10.72 crores.

The Overseas rights have been sold for Rs 7.5 crore and satellite rights for Rs 9 crore.

The total pre-release revenue of the movie is estimated to be anywhere between Rs 66 crore- 70 crore.

OneIndia has rated the movie 4 stars out of 5 calling it a paisa vasool entertainer. The movie is sure to rake in huge amounts at the box office.
