Pak vs SL

The One Day International series between Sri Lanka and Pakistan has proved to be a tough competition, and both the teams are looking forth for a win in the crucial 3rd ODI.

The match is scheduled on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Pakistan wins the toss and opts to bat first.

Pakistan had proved their merit with a great performance in the first ODI where they chased a comparative Sri Lankan score and ended with an easy victory.

Sri Lankans, on the other hand, had outdone Pakistan by chasing their score of 287 runs. The game was a nail-biting one with regards to the bowling and batting proportion.

Kusal Perera turned out to be the man of the match for scoring a massive 68 in just 25 balls. This eventually helped the other batsmen to serve their performance and gain a crucial victory over the away team.

Sri Lanka is eyeing for Perera in the third match with a much graceful performance. Azhar Ali had remarked that after a tough batting performance by Perera, it was difficult for the players to come back with their bowling spells.

Despite such a great batting order for the Lankans, it is up to the middle order with the likes of batsmen like Chandimal, Angelo Matthews and Upul Tharanga to deliver some good batting strokes today.

PTV Sports is telecasting the match live for viewers in Pakistan. Ten Sports and Star Sports in India. The live streaming can be watched at the official site of PTV Sports and Ten Sports here.

Pakistan gets a blow after Mohammed Hafeez gets a ban for one year. He had been triumphant with his knock, both over the bat and his bowling spell. Follow PAk vs SL 3rd ODI live score here.

Thus, it is up to Muhammad Rizwan and Shoaib Malik to play a decent score and come up with some aggressive bowling of a kind.

The pitch also seems a bit wet with the forecast of rain during the play. So it’s now over both the teams for a gigantic win and hold on to a better position as the 3rd ODI gets played today.
