Some netizens challenged Amisha’s statement, accusing her of responding to tweets defaming the movie.
“Gadar 2″is directed by Anil Sharma, of which his son Utkarsh Sharma is one of the directors.
In the first version released in 2012, Utkarsh explored the life of Charanjeet Jeete Singh, the son of Tara Singh and the character of Sakina.
Simrat acted in many Telugu movies starring opposite Utkarsh. “Gadar 2” will hit theaters on August 11.
