The 2016 T20 World Cup will begin on March 08, 2016 with the trigger of qualifying matches. Eight teams will feature in the final round of qualifiers to make it to the first round of the mighty tournament.

Bangladesh who played the final of recently concluded Asia Cup will join Ireland, Oman, Scotland, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Hong Kong and Netherlands for the qualifiers.

Ireland, Bangladesh, Netherlands and Oman will play in Group A, while Scotland, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan and Hong Kong. will be in Group B. Winner of both Group A and B will progress to the final round of the tournament.

Star Sports 1 and Star Sports 3 are telecasting the matches of T 20 World Cup in India.

Sky Sports 2 and Sky Sports 2 HD will be telecasting the matches in the UK, while PTV Sports will do the same in Pakistan.

Star commentators like Wasim Akram, Harsha Bhogle, Ian Bishop, Sunil Gavaskar, Tom Moody, Shaun Pollock, Ramiz Raja, Michael Slater, Shane Warne and Alan Wilkins will be in the box to give live commentary in Hindi and English.
