Hindi action movie “Jai Ho” starring “Dabangg” actor Salman Khan has released on Jan 24, 2013. Last year there have been no releases of Salman Khan which left his fans desperate for “Jai Ho”. All eyes are set on collections of “Jai Ho” if it will enter Rs 200 crore club.
The movie has been directed and produced by Sohail Khan along with Sunil Lulla. It stars newcomer Daisy Shah and Bigg Boss ex-contestant Sana Khan in major roles.
The film has actress Tabu playing Salman Khan’s sister and actor Danny Denzongpa playing the main antagonist.
The songs have been composed by Sajid-Wajid, Telugu music director Devi Sri Prasad and Amal Malik. The background score of the music is given by Sandeep Shirodkar.
“Jai Ho” is an official remake of the Telugu movie “Stalin” which was directed by A.R.Murugadoss of “Ghajini” movie fame.

Distributor Eros International had initially reserved about Rs 16 crores for the promotion of “Jai Ho”.
However Salman Khan had reportedly requested Sunil Lulla to reduce the budgets for and use it for charity instead. The estimated budget of publicity is Rs 6 crores.
“Jai Ho” is releasing in around 4,500 screens in India and about 650 screens abroad. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that “Jai Ho” advance booking has been fantastic. The ticket prices are reported to be normal unlike “Dhoom 3” and “Chennai Express”.
