Australia seek a series win

Jhye Richardson has been ruled out of the rest of the series due to an injury he sustained in the previous match. The speedster dislocated his shoulder while fielding and has travelled back to Australia.

Kane Richardson or Pat Cummins will replace him in the XI on Wednesday. Other than this, Australia wouldn’t want to make any other change in their line-up. But, there would be a temptation to give Ashton Turner an opportunity to play.

Faheem rested for the last three ODIs

Faheem Ashraf has been rested for the remainder of the series as the selectors want to manage the workload of the all-rounder before the World Cup. No replacement has been announced as the team wants to try out the rest of the pacers in the squad.

According to the Cricbuzz report, either Mohammad Amir or Mohammad Abbas will play the third ODI while there will another tussle between Junaid Khan and Usman Shenwari for a place in the XI.

The Abu Dhabi surface is expected to be hard and dry which will allow batsmen to score runs easily.

According to the Cricbuzz report, there will be some clouds over the stadium during the afternoon which could assist pacers to get some swing with the new ball. Some thunderstorms are expected as well which could have an impact on the match.
