The assaulters were armed with weapons and destroyed property raising slogans inside the premises. Even Police could do nothing but stand in silence while the hooligans were vandalising the office.

Ekta Kapoor’s show titled “Jodha Akbar” is a historical drama currently being aired on Zee TV from Monday to Friday at 08:00pm. The serial starring Rajat Tokas and Paridhi Sharma which started on June 18 in 2013 is about the 16th century Mughal emperor Akbar and his wedding of understanding with a Rajput princess Jodha Bai. The show also topped the TRP and TVM charts proving itself as a top Indian show.

However the ‘Karni Sena’ has been protesting against the show for distorting the history of Rajputs in the show. The chief of the Sena called a press conference on Monday and said that they had requested certain changes in the show which have been promised by Ekta Kapoor but never made. So the group decided not to allow any of Balaji’s films be released in the state.
Meanwhile a publication has reported that Ekta has decided to pull out from the show’s production. From February 17, the show’s credits have not displayed Ekta and her mother’s names as producers.
