The counting for five of the Indian States assembly elections is on the way and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party seems to be regaining four of the territories. Punjab has clearly voted fr the Aam Aadmi Party, as the party leads 71 of the 117 seats getting a clear majority.

Yoginath leg BJP has yet again bagged Uttar Pradesh, the stats show that the saffron party is leading by a whopping 224 seats out of 407 seats the halfway mark is 204 seats. The Samajwadi Party led by Akhilesh Yadav is led by 94 seats while the Mayawati-led BSP is leading in just seven seats.

As of writing, the ruling BJP was leading in Goa. But the Congress made significant inroads with 14 leads.

In Manipur out of the 60 seats, BJP is leading in 13 seats.

Uttarakhand:

The BJP has got a simple majority of 37 seats while the Congress got 22 seats.

The elections to the five states — Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, and Manipur — had kicked off on February 10, with Punjab and Manipur going to the polls at a later date. While the seven-phase UP polls ended on March 7, the Manipur elections were held in two phases — on February 28 and March 5. Punjab went to the polls on February 20, whereas the election in Uttarakhand and Goa was conducted on February 14.
