Public response:

The star cast of the movie

You will see experienced actors in the movie. You can feel their agony by the way they emote on film, which causes a lump in your throat. Anupam Kher’s portrayal of Pushkar Nath is by far his best and most convincing. Agnihotri couldn’t have picked a greater actor for the character than Kher, who is a Kashmiri Pandit himself.

As helpless witnesses to the carnage in Kashmir, the supporting cast includes IAS official Brahma Dutt (Mithun Chakraborty), journalist Vishnu Ram (Atul Shrivastava), Dr. Mahesh Kumar (Prakash Belawadi), and police officer DGP Hari Narain (Puneet Issar).

It is not a typical Bollywood masala film. You will sob and cry watching the movie. Everyone should know about this disheartening story of Kashmiris to support them get what they left behind 32 years ago.
