‘Pathan’ 2nd Day Total Worldwide Box-office Collections Report and Public Response

Shahrukh Khan’s multi-language film “Pathaan” hit the screens on a working Wednesday but nothing could stop its glorious opening. SRK ruled the theatres on January 25 and garnered around Rs 54 crore on its first day in the country in all languages.

The film collected Rs 50 crore from the advance booking alone, which itself was a record. Now, with the opening day figures, Pathaan has broken the first-day records of KGF 2 Hindi (2022) and War (2019), which collected Rs 52 crore (net) and Rs 50 crore (net) upon their release.

“Pathaan” is expected to extend its box office earnings on January 26, Republic Day, and comfortably enter the Rs 100 crore club.

‘Pathaan’ Public response

The Box Office Worldwide tweeted, “Exclusive HISTORIC BLOCKBUSTER #ShahRukhKhan Starrer #Pathaan Set To Cross 110 Cr Nett By Tomorrow, Heavy Demands Forced YRF To Increase Shows From Midnight Today!”

According to the Box Office Worldwide, the film is set to collect a whopping Rs. 175 crore globally on the very second day of its release. It wrote, “#Pathaan #Pathan #PathaanDay1 Wed 53-57 cr nett Thu 56-60 cr nett Total 109-117 cr nett Eyes RECORD worldwide 160-175 cr nett in 2 days!”

If indeed this prediction holds, then this will be a new record for a Bollywood film. Produced by Yashraj Films, “Pathaan” was released on 2200 screens globally and a record of 5600 screens in India.
