‘Pathan’ Day 9 Box Office Collections: ‘Pathaan’ Grosses Breathtaking Rs 700 cr Worldwide

Indian Hindi movie “Pathaan” inched closer to the epic Rs 700 crore mark at the worldwide box office on Thursday as per early estimates.

The film is estimated to have collected Rs 20 crore at the domestic box office on its eighth day, taking the domestic box office collections to nearly Rs 400 crore. But the film’s terrific success in the international market has propelled it closer to an incredible Rs 700 crore mark.

According to film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film made a total of Rs 634 crore in the worldwide gross box office as of Wednesday. The film collected Rs 395 crore in gross domestic box office collections and Rs 239 crore at the overseas box office.

As of day 9 and the 2nd weekend, it has already sold tickets worth 3.90 crores gross in advance booking, which equals 2 lakh+ tickets, reported Koimoi.com. Please note that this ticket sale is before the first show of day 9 starts.

“Pathaan” is the fastest Hindi film to enter the Rs 250 crore club. The film collected approx Rs 280 crore in 5 days domestically, which is the fastest for any Hindi movie.

It’s a slight dip from yesterday’s 4.20 crores, but still an amazing figure considering the film has already earned a lot during the first 8 days.

Deepika Padukone said during the media interaction with Shahrukh Khan and John Abraham., “To be honest, I don’t think we set out to break records. We set out to make a good film.
