'Pathan' Day 17 Box Office Collections; 'Pathaan' inches towards Rs 1000 Cr Worldwide

“Pathaan,” starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, is still running to packed theatres across India and is now making its way to Rs 1000 crore club worldwide.

The film shot in multiple countries in India, Afghanistan, Spain, UAE, Turkey, Russia, Italy, and France is the first Indian film to be shot in Siberia’s Lake Baikal.

“Pathaan packs a solid punch in Week 2. The absence of major films this week should prove advantageous, especially on (third) Saturday and Sunday.

“(Week 2) Friday ₹ 13.50 crore, Saturday ₹ 22.50 crore, Sunday ₹ 27.50 crore, Monday ₹ 8.25 crore, Tuesday ₹ 7.50 crore, Wednesday ₹ 6.50 crore, Thursday ₹ 5.75 crore. Total: ₹ 442.50 crore. Hindi. India biz,” tweeted Taran Adarsh.

Shah Rukh Khan did his own stunts in Pathaan.  YRF has released a BTS where SRK is doing such stunts on normal ground without the help of cables & cushions at age 57!

Shah Rukh Khan actually has a metal plate in the leg, a titanium disk in the neck & biodegradable screws in the shoulder.

“Pathaan” managed to do good business on its 16th day at the box office. The film collected Rs 8.25 crore so far collection is over Rs 450 crore at the box office in India, while the film has surpassed a total of Rs 850 crore worldwide.

Despite witnessing slight dips on 14th and 15th day, the film has been performing well domestically in theatres and multiplexes.

The movie is about an Indian spy who takes on the leader of a group of mercenaries who have nefarious plans to target his homeland. The film has an IMDb rating of 6.6 out of 10 from 117K users.

‘Pathan’ also stars Ashutosh Rana, Dimple Kapadia, and Salman Khan is special roles.
