Flipkart hints of launching Motorola Moto Maxx in India

Till not long ago, when Motorola dominated the online smartphone sales in India, people got accustomed to only three of the smartphones from the house of Moto – the  Moto E, Moto X, and Moto G. The Indian market is now set for a Moto revival and it’s going to be a Maxx affair.

Flipkart, the online retailer for almost all smartphone vendors in India, has now thrown us a tease of what could be the launch of Moto Maxx, the real beast from Motorola. On Thursday afternoon, the e-commerce giant tweeted that a beast is heading our way.

The teasing phrases such as ‘turbocharged’ and ‘Nylon Fairing’ have invoked lots of enthusiasm already. We tried digging deeper, and we guess the phone that is being lined up is the Moto Maxx.

Moto Maxx

Announced last November, the Moto Maxx smartphone has been introduced with a turbo-charge feature for providing up to 8 hours of battery life after just 15 minutes of charging.

And it comes along with the mammoth 3900 mAh battery, which makes it one of the best battery optimized smartphone currently available. Check all the features and specifications here.

The specs inside however may demand even more. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC, Moto Maxx features the 2.7GHz quad-core processor that comes along with a RAM of 3 GB.

Powering the images would be an Adreno 420 GPU. Moto Maxx also comes big with the in-built storage it offers with a 64 GB in-built storage.

Moto Max brags a stunning 5.2-inch display that features a 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution (~556ppi pixel density). Primary cam is boasted by a 21MP shooter (with dual-LED flash), while the front-cam offers a 2MP shooter complying the video calling and selfie snapping demands.

The device will be running Android 4.4 KitKat, and will also be coming with Android 5.0L update. More details including the pricing range can be expected to be revealed soon.
