Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh get engaged

Indian star batsman Rohit Sharma got engaged to his long time friend Ritika Sajdeh. The bride is now leading her career as a Sports Event Manager.

The 28 year old cricketer is now captaining the Mumbai Indians side in IPL Season 8. As per reports, Ritika Sajdeh and Rohit met at the Borivali Sports Club in Mumbai.

A friendship got triggered in between the two, and later it got evolved as a romantic affair. The couple is in touch for the last six years.

The news of the Cricketer’s engagement was unveiled by Rohit himself through his Twitter Account. The Mumbai Indians Captain posted his picture with Ritika, and titled it, “From best friends to soulmates, couldn’t get any better”. Ritiika is now managing Rohit’s cricket engagements.

Rohit Sharma is now one of the unquestionable figure in Modern Day Indian Cricket. He made his One Day International Debut on 2007 in a match against Ireland. On 06 November 2013, he made his Test Debut against West Indies.

Rohit Sharma is the highest Individual run scorer in a match in One Day Internationals, as he scored 264 in a match against Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens.

Rohit’s this year’s IPL Campaign is not so fruitful as of now. Mumbai Indians struggled in the initial matches of the campaign, and now, they are slowly coming back to the track.
