Taylor Swift has reportedly rejected an invitation to appear on Meghan Markle’s podcast, “Archetypes.” The podcast, which is set to launch on Spotify on July 21, will explore the labels that society puts on women.
According to a source, Swift was approached about appearing on the podcast but ultimately declined. The source said that Swift was “not interested in participating in a conversation that she felt was not aligned with her values.”
Markle’s podcast has been met with some controversy since its announcement. Some critics have accused Markle of using the podcast to promote her own interests and of being out of touch with the average woman.
However, Markle has defended the podcast, saying that it is “an opportunity to have honest conversations about the labels that society puts on women.” She has also said that she hopes the podcast will “spark a conversation about the way we view and treat women.”
