India cruised to a 5-wicket victory over West Indies in the first ODI in Barbados on Thursday. The hosts were bundled out for just 114 in 23 overs, with Kuldeep Yadav taking 4 wickets for 6 runs. India chased down the target in just 17.2 overs, with Ishan Kishan top-scoring with 52 off 46 balls. 

The win was a dominant display from India, who were missing a number of key bowlers due to injury. However, they still had enough firepower to dismiss West Indies’ batting lineup, which has been struggling for form in recent months.
