According to reports, the first-day collection of “Masaan” is close to Rs. 1.5 crores. The box office numbers are expected to be better.
The movie is pitted against last week’s release “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” starring Salman Khan, which has been setting box office records and south film “Bahubaali”, which is strong in its second week.
The film has been made on a small budget and given the reviews and positive word of mouth, it shouldn’t be hard to recover costs.
