The multi-language action thriller “Jawan,” starring Shahrukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and others, was released worldwide on Thursday, September 7, 2023.
Plot
Shah Rukh Khan plays a dual role, one as a spy and one as a common person. A personal vendetta drives him to rectify societal wrongs while keeping a promise made years ago. He comes up against a monstrous outlaw with no fear who has caused extreme suffering to many.
The film features Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone in supporting roles. Nayanthara is believed to be playing Khan’s love interest, while Sethupathi is the main villain. Padukone has a special appearance in the film.
“Jawan” is directed by Atlee, known for his stylish action films like Theri and Mersal. Under Red Chilies Entertainment, Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma produced the film.
Public response
The film received a mostly positive response from the public on its first day. The movie is being screened from 6:00 AM onwards, which is a first for any Shahrukh Khan movie. Fans have taken to social media to praise Khan’s performance, the film’s action sequences, and the direction of Atlee.

Box-Office prediction
Trade analysts predict that “Jawan” will have a strong opening at the box office. They expect the film to earn between Rs 65-70 crore on its opening day, making it the biggest opener in India.
The movie is also expected to do well in the overseas markets, thanks to Khan’s global appeal. “Jawan” has also been released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
