Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV Launches in India at ₹1.39 Cr

Mercedes-Benz has finally launched the EQE SUV in India at a starting price of Rs 1.39 crore.

The launch marks the automaker’s third electric vehicle (EV) launch in India after the EQB SUV and EQS sedan.

The EQE 500 4Matic SUV is built on Mercedes-Benz’s new EVA platform and complements the existing EQE. The heart of this elegant electric SUV is a powerful 90.6 kWh lithium-ion.

outputs an impressive 300kW (402bhp) of power and 858Nm of torque.The car, which can reach a maximum speed of 210 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, demonstrates its performance.

The EQE 500 4Matic SUV also has a range of 550 kilometers on a single charge, making it ideal for long journeys. It comes with an 11 kW AC wall charger box that can charge the entire SUV in 10 hours.

For faster charging, cars can be fast-charged using chargers up to 170kW, which can charge to 80% in just half an hour.

Mercedes-Benz provides excellent support for the battery of the EQE SUV—a warranty of up to 10 years or 250,000 miles. Maintenance intervals are planned at two years or 30,000 miles.

The EQE SUV is 4,863 mm long and sits between the GLC and GLE models.

It is based on Mercedes-Benz’s Electric Vehicle Architecture 2 (EVA2) and shares most of its design and styling cues with the sedan version, although the latter is unavailable in India.

The EQE features digital LED lighting that connects seamlessly to the LED light strips and replaces the grille with an invisible three-point star with a custom black color.

This SUV features 20-inch aerodynamic special alloy wheels and attractive full-width LED taillights. The EQE’s futuristic “hyperscreen” instrument panel layout is impressive inside the cabin.

This new configuration includes three screens, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 17.7-inch central touchscreen infotainment system, and a 12.3-inch front passenger entertainment screen.
