Why ‘Young Sheldon’ Season 7 Is Doomed To Fail?

Why 'Young Sheldon' Season 7 Is Doomed To Fail?

Till now we have been introduced to many storylines in the “Young Sheldon” sitcom but the upcoming storyline might mess up because of The Big Bang Theory. We might get some plot changes just like other sitcoms .

“Young Sheldon” season 7 will be hard for the show as we see that Sheldon has reached when his father dies and gets traumatized by knowing his brother’s extra marital affairs.

These events have a huge impact on Sheldon’s character development but how the show carries these plots since we see a lighter version of Sheldon’s father when compared to the Big Bang Theory.

Georgie & Mandy’s Relationship Will Not Work

The relationship of Georgie and Mandy could never have worked out since they are completely opposite to each other. They both want different things from each other and it can be seen when Mandy repeatedly turned down Georgie’s proposals or him rejecting her desire to return to work.

It is tough for the show to create a plot where Georgie & Mandy’s relationship breaks when most of the viewers already know the outcome of their relationship from The Big Bang Theory.

We have seen in Big Bang Theory the repeated reference of Georgie’s “ex-wife” which is supposedly Mandy. Viewers are confused and want to know why “Young Sheldon” is stretching their relationship when in the end it doesn’t go right and they end up breaking-up.

Problems With The Big Bang Theory Storyline

It seems like season 7 of “Young Sheldon” is wasting time on a storyline, with an outcome that is already known to the viewers.

This particular storyline was established in The Big Bang Theory when Georgie’s ex-wife was mentioned in an episode. However in season 6 of “Young Sheldon” they mostly ignored this aspect. They showed the couple getting engaged after an unpredictable courtship.

Even though viewers of The Big Bang Theory are well aware that this subplot, the “Young Sheldon” season 7 is destined to fail, Georgie and Mandy sometimes give the impression that they might be able to salvage their relationship.
