South Indian actress Amala Paul, who tied the knot with Jagat Desai in a private ceremony in November 2022, has revealed that she is expecting her first child.
The couple shared the happy news on their social media accounts, along with some adorable pictures of them cradling Amala’s baby bump.
Amala wrote, “We are over the moon to share that we are growing our family by two feet. Our bundle of joy is due in November and we can’t wait to meet our little one. Thank you for all your love and blessings. Keep us in your prayers.”
Jagat Desai also expressed his excitement and gratitude, saying, “My beautiful wife and my biggest blessing. I’m so happy and thankful to announce that we are having a baby. This is the best gift that God has given us and we can’t wait to welcome our angel into this world. Love you Amala, you are the best thing that ever happened to me.”
Amala and Bhavninder had a low-key wedding at the latter’s farmhouse in Himachal Pradesh, amid the coronavirus pandemic. The wedding was attended by only close family and friends. The couple had been dating for a while before they decided to take their relationship to the next level.
Amala, who made her debut in the Malayalam film “Neelathamara” in 2009, has acted in several Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films. She is known for her roles in movies like “Mynaa”, “Deiva Thirumagal,” “Thalaivaa,” “Velaiyilla Pattathari”, and “Aadai”. She was previously married to director AL Vijay, but they divorced in 2017.
