How Much Rihanna Was Paid to Perform at Anant Ambani and Radhika's Pre-wedding!

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are all geared up to host their star-studded pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar, starting March 1. Singer Rihanna is among the list of invitees who will be performing at the couple’s pre-wedding event held in Jamnagar. Rihanna arrived in Jamnagar before the event on Thursday, February 29. According to sources, the singer received 74 crore rupees to perform!

Rihanna all set to begin her performance at 5:30 pm today, March 1

Pop icon Rihanna, who rarely performs at private gigs, is being paid ₹66 to 74 crore to perform at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash. Reportedly, Rihanna will be doing a medley of her songs which involves a big set for her performance. Her gig will also include her solo hits like ‘Diamonds’. Most of the costs went into the transportation of her stage equipment, her outfits for performance, and her team of background singers.

Rihanna and her team arrived on Thursday and were greeted at Jamnagar Airport with a traditional Gujarati dandiya dance, sweets and beverages.

Rihanna is not the first foreign singer to perform at the Ambani’s Wedding. Before her, Beyonce was seen performing at Isha Ambani’s sangeet ceremony in 2018. The buzz is the singer was paid close to $4 million.

Other stars and imminent personalities to attend the pre-wedding

The guest list consists of around 2000 people. Among them, the King of Bhutan – Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk, and his wife, -Jetsun Pema of Bhutan, arrived in Jamnagar on Thursday. Besides them, singer Rihanna also arrived for the event on Thursday. Arijit Singh, Ajay-Atul and Diljit Dosanjh, as well as illusionist David Blaine, are expected to perform during the celebrations.

The guest list also includes Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit, and Anil Kapoor, among others. Imminent personalities like- Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, Saudi Aramco chairperson Yasir Al Rumayyan, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company CEO and MD Sultan Al Jaber, Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger, BlackRock Chairman and CEO Larry Fink, American scientist Dr Richard Klausner, and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar are expected to grace the occasion with their presence.

The first day of the event is themed – ‘An Evening in Neverland’, where guests are urged to dress in chic cocktail attire. The event will begin at 5:30 pm on Friday, March 1. Radhika and Anant Ambani will tie the knot on July 12, 2024.
