Netflix launches new teaser for ‘Murder Mubarak’, Pankaj Tripathi on the hunt

‘Murder Mystery’ includes an ensemble cast featuring Dimple Kapadia, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, Vijay Varma, Pankaj Tripathi and Sara Ali Khan in the key roles. The film is directed by Homi Adajania and will be released on March 15, 2024.

An enticing tale of mystery

While working on a murder case, a police officer (played by Pankaj Tripathi) focuses his prying eyes on a list of suspects. He gets mingled into their world as an outsider and learns that there are far more sinister secrets that are tucked away from the public eye.

The film is based on Anuja Chauhan’s novel ‘Club You To Death’. The story is set in the posh locality of South Delhi where the murder of a personal trainer brings seven people under the suspect of an eccentric cop.

In the new teaser released by Netflix, we see actor Pankaj Tripathi in the role of Assistant Commissioner of Police Bhavani Singh.

A murder has taken place in the Royal Delhi Club, which previously used to be inhabited by Britishers and is now a part of the most elite members in South Delhi. Bhavani Singh was sent to investigate the case and under his radar are the seven most posh members of the Royal Delhi Club. However, the question of who is a murderer can be quite tricky and can lead to misconceptions.

Towards the end of the teaser, we can hear a voiceover saying that a total stranger doesn’t need to be a murderer. A murderer can be someone we know or share a laugh with. In fact, in some cases, even the person you love can turn out to be a murderer.

Star-studded Cast of ‘Murder Mubarak’

A diverse group of artists are featured in ‘Murder Mubarak’. Pankaj Tripathi and Vijay Verma will take on the key roles of cop and lawyer respectively.

Along with them, Bollywood stars like Karishma Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, Dimple Kapadia, and Sanjay Kapoor with Suhail Nayyar will be seen in the film. The movie is directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Maddock Films. ‘Murder Mubarak’ releases on Netflix on March 15.
