Session 3: India’s Well-conceived Response

By ball India dominated; and with bat, they did not lose the moment. It started with Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal who laid a strong foundation for the hosts. 

Rohit Sharma, the captain, also displayed his leadership skills, as he played with a calm half-century to the front. Jaiswal laid down the foundation of the innings by scoring his fifty. Shubman Gill also chipped in to close the day’s proceedings with India at 135/1, in the driving seat.
