Xiaomi launches $50 Kids Smartwatch MI Bunny! Price and Features

The Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi launches a $50 feature packed, kids smartwatch. The smartwatch is nothing fancy but has all essential features required for a children smartwatch.

What is attractive though is the cheap price point, compared to the variety of features offered by the watch.

Make and Receive Calls

Kids can make and receive calls without the need of a separate SIM card. The Xiaomi Smartwatch comes with its carrier card that has its own rental and data charges. Incoming calls are free and making calls is almost free, costing just 0.1 Yen/min

Custom Security Zone (only Xiaomi Bunny)

Parents can set custom safety zones for their kids. If their child ventures out of these security zones, the parents will get notified immediately via a message.

SOS

The built-in SOS feature will send the GPS location of the smartwatch to the parent’s mobile phone as soon as the SOS trigger is activated.

Free chats

The smartwatch can be used to talk with kids easily without any extra cost.

300 mAh battery (6 days standby)

Ample amount of charge, which helps power the smartwatch for an extended period.

Food Grade Silicon strap

This is to ensure that your kid stays away from harmful
chemicals.

Waterproof and Shockproof

Because kids will be kids and be asking them to be careful is not the way to do it. The Xiaomi smartwatch plans to accompany your son into every puddle and jump he or she takes during the day.

All in all the smartwatch is a very good idea for working parents that can’t keep an eye on their kids 24×7. With this cheap alternative to the rich kids smartwatches that already exist, parents can easily do their work and look after their children without having to worry about them and their whereabouts every time they go somewhere.
