Secret behind Kajal Agarwal-Suriya kissing scene in ‘Maattrraan’

Secret behind Kajal Agarwal-Suriya kissing scene in 'Maattrraan'

A video from the sets of the 2012 Tamil movie “Maattrraan” has gone viral, and the reason is nothing but the kiss scene of the lead actress Kajal Agarwal.

To make things clear, this is not an ordinary intimate clip in which the male and female leads kiss on the lips.

Instead, this clip shows how a green screen can be used wisely to shoot lip-lock moments with perfection.

In a short clip uploaded on YouTube by a user named pawani ar, we can see Kajal faking a lip lock scene with South Superstar Suriya. The faking happened on a Chroma screen, and the actress was seen kissing a chroma cushion to create a false intimate moment.

The clip has impressed the audiences a lot, and till now, nobody was aware that this was a faked video.

In the clip, Kajal and Surya are seen kissing in a theater. But in the video, we see the stunning beauty sitting in front of the screen, while Suriya is nowhere in the picture.

In another portion, we can see the actor kissing a glass display, and when both these scenes are combined, a kissing moment has been delivered in elegant style.

Acclaimed cinematographer K Anand directed this film. It was released four years back in the midst of massive hype but finally emerged as an average grosser in the box office. In this flick, Surya enacted the characters of conjoined twins, while Aggarwal played their lady love role.

The 31-year-old heroine has not performed any direct kissing scenes until the 2016 Hindi project, “Do Lafzon Ke Kahaani” with Randip Hooda in the lead role.

In the initial moments, the young beauty was hesitant to act in the romantic sequence, but later, the director of the flick, Deepak, explained the significance of that series.

The actress, too, explained things to her fans after shooting the scene, and she made it clear that it was crucial to determine the overall proceedings of the story.

Kajal’s next is “Brahmotsavam,” in which she is paired opposite Mahesh Babu.
