While speaking of Shakira and Lucien’s romance, a source informed DailyMail.com – “Shakira is desperate to fall in love – but her friends are concerned because Lucien has slowly crept his way up the celebrity ladder while dating women who were all less famous than Shakira.”

However, it is reported that the two are not committed to each other and are just casually dating. Still, Shakira’s friends are worried about the singer since they believe Lucien might not even want Shakira and abandon her. He might only be dating her to excite his celebrity status and will end up breaking her heart.

“The women he has been with are all very different. Now he is seeing Shakira – and she wants love. But her friends fear he wants people to know his name, and she provides that. They are seeing each other but are not heavily involved yet,” added the source.

Her friends claimed that she is “not over her ex’ Gerard Piqué and that everyone around her knows that Lucien is a rebound. She is dating someone who they fear is a player, and she is going to get burned,” the source to Dailymail.com.
