Check Tamil Nadu (TN) Class 12 Results 2024 at dge.tn.gov.in, tnresults.nic.in

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) announced the Tamil Nadu (TN) Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) results for Class 12 on May 6, 2024, at 9:30 AM. Students can view and download their mark sheet from the official sites – dge.tn.gov.in or results.nic.in.

Students will require their login ID and password to view the results from the official sites listed above. This year, over 8 lakh candidates have appeared for the TN class 12th exams. The exams commenced on March 1, 2024, and ended on March 22, 2024. It was conducted in pen and paper mode.

This year, the pass percentage is 94.56%. Girls outperformed their male counterparts by scoring a pass percentage of 96.44%, while the boys’ pass rate was 92.37%.

TN class 12 mark sheet download procedure

Navigate to official exam result portals, namely dge.tn.gov.in or results.nic.in.

On the homepage, click the link for ‘TN HSE (+2) Results 2024’.

Fill in the necessary credentials like registration number and date of birth. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

After submission of relevant details, your results will be displayed on screen.

You can download the mark sheet for future reference.

Students are advised to go over the details on their marksheet such as Student Name, Roll number, Name of subjects, Marks obtained in each subject, Subject grades, Passing status – Pass/ Fail, etc., and check its accuracy. In case of any errors, students are urged to contact their respective school authorities for correction. Students are urged to correct their original. mark sheet from their respective schools a few days after the result declaration. Students who have failed to clear the TN class 12th exams in one go can sit for the TN Board supplementary exams. Information regarding the supplementary exams will be announced later.

TN class 12th exams previous years’ statistics

In light of previous years’ statistics, the pass percentage for The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) class 12th exams was recorded to be 94.03%. In 2023, for the Science stream, the overall pass percentage came to 96.32%. For the Commerce stream, the pass percentage was 91.63%. Whereas, for the Arts stream, the pass percentage was 81.89%.
