Kolkata, May 8, 2024 — The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has officially announced the results of the 2024 Higher Secondary (HS) examinations. Students who appeared for the exams between February 16 and 29, 2024 can now access their results online.  The results were announced through a press conference at 1 PM, and the official results link will be available at 3 PM.

Marksheets Availability: The digital marksheets are available for download immediately. Physical copies of the marksheets will be distributed starting from May 10, 2024.

In the 2024 West Bengal Higher Secondary (HS) examinations, a staggering 105,810 students participated in the science stream. The pass rate for this group was an impressive 97.19%. Among these bright minds, 58 students have secured coveted positions in the top 10 of the WB HS 2024 results.

Hooghly, a district known for its academic excellence, takes the lead with 13 high achievers in the top ranks. Following closely is Bankura, contributing nine students to the prestigious top ten list.

The distribution of scores among students reveals varying levels of achievement:

  1. 40.92% of students scored 60% or higher.
  2. A smaller portion, 22.38%, managed to achieve 70% or above.
  3. Even fewer, 8.47%, surpassed the 80% mark.
  4. The highest achievers, representing just 1.23% of students, scored an impressive 90% or above.
