‘Take Off’ trailer released; redefining Malayalam cinema [video]

Malayalam movie lovers are all in a state of ecstasy now, as the trailer of “Take Off,” the film which stars Kunchakko Boban, Fahadh Fazil and Parvathy in the lead roles have released and is now trending in online spaces.

Within hours, the one minute and thirty-seven seconds video has fetched nearly 3 lakh views, and considering the positive reviews, this count is expected to reach a new level in the coming days.

A movie based on real-life incident

This film which is being directed by Mahesh Narayanan is based on a real life incident which happened in Iraq on 2014. On an unfortunate day, 14 Indian nurses got kidnapped by the Islamic State, and finally, a dramatic rescue operation saved them.

In this movie, Parvathi has enacted the role of a nurse who gets kidnapped, while chocolate hero Kunchakko Boban will be seen in the character of her husband. The character of the Indian ambassador will be portrayed on screen by versatile hero Fahadh Fazil.
