Malayalam psychological thriller “Bougainvillea” will captivate audiences when it premieres in theaters on October 17, 2024.

Directed by Amal Neerad, who co-wrote the screenplay with Lajo Jose, the film stars Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, and Jyothirmayi in pivotal roles. This film marks Jyothirmayi’s return to the silver screen after an 11-year hiatus.

Plot Summary:

The story revolves around Dr. Royce Thomas (Kunchacko Boban) and his wife Reethu (Jyothirmayi), whose lives turn dark following a tragic accident that leaves Reethu mentally unstable.

As mysterious disappearances of tourists in Kerala come to light, ACP David Koshy (Fahadh Faasil) is tasked with the investigation, with Reethu emerging as the prime suspect. The film promises a gripping narrative filled with suspense and unexpected twists.
