In a first of its kind campaign, the first poster of Farah Khan’s new movie “Happy New Year” was released to its fans and fanclubs on social media sites. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan had promised the first look to be out on the eve of New Year, Jan 01,2014.
The poster of the multi-starrer features Shah Rukh Khan, Boman Irani, Vivaan shah, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and Deepika Padukone.
The poster shows an opened locker with the leads and the tagline “Iss Diwali ..Todenge Taale India Wale”. The story is about a group of non-dancers participating in a dance show to carry a heist.
Deepika Padukone plays a Marathi dancer in the movie. Actor Jackie Shroff is playing the negative lead in the movie which is releasing on Diwali festival in 2014.
Produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s studio, Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd, the ambitious project of Farah Khan is still under-production and is a unique genre- Musical Heist.
Farah said that she believe in cinema that entertains and with a dream cast like that she hopes that the movie will be the most entertaining film of the year.
She said that she always shares a dream partnership with Shah Rukh and with their third collaboration she hopes that it will be a very HAPPY NEW YEAR indeed.
