The Bhojpuri film industry is in shock after the news of actress Akanksha Dubey’s death came out on Sunday, March 26, 2023.
The 25-year-old actress was found hanging from the ceiling of her hotel room in the Sarnath area, Varanasi, where she was shooting for a film. The police have informed her family and are investigating the case.
Akanksha Dubey was a popular actress who had worked in several Bhojpuri films such as Meru Jung Mera Faisla, Mujhse Shadi Karogi, Veeron Ke Veer, and Fighter King.
She was also active on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, with a huge fan following. She used to share her dancing and acting videos with her fans regularly.
However, hours before her death, Akanksha Dubey went live on Instagram and was seen crying inconsolably.
A video clip of her live session has gone viral on the internet, where she can be seen covering her mouth and sobbing. The reason behind her emotional breakdown and her alleged suicide is not yet clear.

Akanksha Dubey’s death has left her fans and colleagues in shock and grief. Many of them have expressed their condolences and tributes on social media. Some of them have also urged people to be more aware and supportive of mental health issues.
Akanksha Dubey was born on October 21, 1997, in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. She was passionate about dancing and acting since childhood and pursued her dream of becoming an actress.
She had a bright future ahead of her in the Bhojpuri film industry. Her untimely demise is a huge loss for the industry and her fans.
