Danny and Michael Phillips’ ‘Talk to Me’ movie hits theaters over the weekend, and more may be on the way:

Twin directors Danny and Michael Philippou received the film at the Sundance Film Festival (A24), hoping to give their film more room for commentary. But will they discover the universe they created in the sequel? Maybe.

Mia joins her friend Jed’s (Alexandra Jansen) family to take care of Jed’s younger brother, Riley (Joe Bird).
When a group of local children started to play with the demon hand that spawns evil spirits, Mia desperately wanted to join them to get rid of her grief.
Especially when that hand started to remind him of her mother, she became addicted. Her thoughts led to Riley being captured and hospitalized, eventually confining himself to the world of ghouls.
