Former actress and former MP Jayaprada was sentenced to six months in prison by the Egmore Court in Chennai. She was also fined Rs 5,000 for a petition filed by a cinema employee she owned in Raya Petta, Chennai.
Cinema is run by Ram Kumar and Raja Babu and is owned by Chennai.
The problem started when the controller did not pay the ESI workers and took the matter to court.

However, advocates for the Employment Insurance Company opposed the appeal, and Jayaprad and three others were linked to the case after six months of house arrest.
